The 2014 Sustainability Newsletter features updates on Council's important sustainability projects including:
- Council's response to the drought by slashing the use of drinking water by 65%
- Council's external funding for a Litter Prevention Officer
- Expanding the local bike path networks to encourage the use of "pedal power" for transport
- Developing a stronger understanding and plan for water and flooding conditions, including the creation of a Flood Management Plan and a Water Pollution Management Plan
